St. Paul Humboldt Hawks played host tonight to the Central Minutemen in a conference match up that demonstrates why Central remains undefeated in the St. Paul City conference. The unrelenting offensive pressure by the Minutemen kept Humboldt on their heels for most of the game.

Humboldt Hawks #45 LaShay Holt played well bringing her state leading rebound record to 363. Holt had 14 points, 12 rebounds and 5 steals on the night. Unfortunately her team wasn’t able to take her lead and turnovers quickly became the theme for the Hawks. With just a few minuets left in the game, Central suffered a key loss when #24 Marliah Guerra-Edwards rolled her ankle while landing on her team mate under the net.
St Paul Central moves to 7-0 in conference play while Humboldt drops to 3-6. Both teams came into tonight’s game winning their previous game.
